BLOU CREATIONS LLC

GunBroker.com has been working with BLoucreations, LLC for several years now. BLou Creations is a progressive seller with unique products. We’re pleased to bring you a little closer to another business partner of ours.

GUNBROKER.COM: Tell us about the name of your company and how long you’ve been selling on the GunBroker.com platform.

BLOU CREATIONS: BLoucreationsLLC is my seller name on GunBroker.com. It’s named after my grandmother who raised me, Betty Lou. BLou Llamas Creations is another DBA. I have been selling on GunBroker.com since 2022. I’ve been selling on GunBroker.com to reach collectors and enthusiasts nationwide. I work full time in crime scene work, hence why I have produced several Dia de los Muertos themed firearms. These models are very popular, and very much in demand.  Every piece I create is special for many reasons.

GUNBROKER.COM: Tell us about your niche business.

BLOU CREATIONS: Overall, I’ve always had a passion for creating functional artwork. I’ve been an artist my entire life, and now I’ve found a way to merge that creativity with my love for firearms. People have sold something as simple as a banana taped to a wall for millions—so why not high-dollar, functional art? It’s all about reaching the right audience, because art always sells in its own time.

I enjoy creating commissioned pieces, tribute art, restoration projects, and limited series designs. While I truly love my work in crime scene investigation, building custom firearms is my personal outlet and creative passion. I see myself as an artist who simply uses firearms as my medium, and my goal is to create the highest-selling functional art piece in history.

GUNBROKER.COM: We understand that you customize firearms and sell them on GunBroker.com. Your firearms are very specialized and no doubt, are considered collectibles. Why do you sell on GunBroker.com, outside of some of your other outlets?

BLOU CREATIONS: Our firearms are highly specialized, one-of-a-kind pieces that combine functional craftsmanship with artistic design. While Facebook and other outlets help showcase our work, GunBroker.com allows us to connect directly with a dedicated audience of serious buyers and collectors. Promoting outside those platforms helps us expand our reach to customers who may not have encountered our work otherwise.

GUNBROKER.COM: What does GunBroker.com provide you with, as a seller of unique products, that other platforms do not offer?

BLOU CREATIONS: GunBroker.com provides a targeted marketplace with a large, engaged base of firearm buyers who value craftsmanship, rarity, and collectibility. The platform’s credibility, integrated auction system, instant purchasing and nationwide reach give our custom builds visibility and trust that general social media platforms simply cannot offer.

GUNBROKER.COM: How important is it that GunBroker.com provide the strongest technology possible and offer you, as a seller, new functionality, to grow your business and stay ahead of competitors:

BLOU CREATIONS: Very important. Staying ahead in the custom firearm space means not only innovating with design but also adapting to the latest marketing tools and platform updates. New listing features, higher-quality imaging options, and improved search visibility help us remain competitive. As we continue to integrate more of GunBroker.com’s new features and optimize our listings, I’m confident our reach and sales will grow. The platform’s constant innovation aligns well with our commitment to evolve our presentation and customer experience.

GUNBROKER.COM: Tell us about some of your favorite firearms.

BLOU CREATIONS: One of my most significant and favorite works to date is a Dia de los Muertos–themed Cobray M11 9mm. It’s been my most time-intensive project, complete with a custom case designed to resemble an altar, and it’s still available for purchase. My journey into custom firearm design began with a Glock 48 featuring a factory Day of the Dead frame. I wanted the slide to match, but after learning how long it would take and how much it would cost, I decided to teach myself the craft—and the rest is history. At the end of the day, God is good, and so is gold.
