Andrew’s love for firearms began early, sparked by watching the legendary Matt Dillon wield a Colt Peacemaker on the classic TV show Gunsmoke. As a young boy sitting beside his father, Andrew was captivated by the iconic Colt revolver.

This early fascination only deepened as he grew older and began to develop a keen appreciation for the history and craftsmanship of firearms, particularly Colts.

GUNBROKER.COM: We understand that Bryant Ridge has a unique business where you acquire or consign inventory from different individuals and companies and offer full-service from time of acquisition of the inventory. Is there a regular flow of your business or do you go through periods where there’s tremendous inventory available to sell and other times inventory is a bit flat?

BRYANT RIDGE CO: Inventory flow is the backbone of our business. To do right by our consignors, we list as many items as possible every day—regardless of how full or scarce our shelves are. We feel extremely blessed that our shelves in the vault are never empty. There are no quotas or “predetermined number” of listings that are created each week. We simply get all we can to the market every single day. This ensures maximum exposure and the fastest path to market for every consigned piece.

GUNBROKER.COM: Bryant Ridge has been selling on GunBroker.com since 2012. You’ve seen big changes in your business as well as a decade and a half of changes on the GunBroker.com platform. How important is GunBroker.com to Bryant Ridge’s business?

BRYANT RIDGE CO: Here at Bryant Ridge Co., we put each customer’s needs first. BRYANT RIDGE CO: We have two full-time professional drivers on the road, dedicated to safely picking up collections from our customers. One advantage of operating in a small, rural community is that we know a person’s reputation and character long before they join our team. Our drivers undergo recurring background checks and are known for their integrity and professionalism in our community. We love getting to know our customers and guiding them through the process—from documenting each firearm and preparing it for transport to carefully organizing what will be consigned. It’s common for us to spend 2–3 days on site helping clients sort, document, and pack their collections for market.

BRYANT RIDGE CO: Our signature blue is a nod to our Kentucky roots—and yes, to our love for Wildcat College basketball.
